Banked Reset definition
A banked reset behaves like a reset card saved to an account. Instead of restoring capacity immediately, it normally appears as an action the user can choose to apply.
Announcements may limit eligibility to particular plans or accounts created before a cutoff. Broad eligibility must never be assumed without explicit wording.
How it differs from a Full Reset
A Full Reset usually restores the affected capacity directly and then propagates. A Banked Reset stores one optional restoration opportunity.
The effect on the normal weekly cycle can differ. Whether redemption changes the next refresh should be read from the account interface and official explanation.
When one may appear
Past banked credits have appeared around launches, delayed access, incident compensation and milestones. Those contexts describe history rather than a fixed issuance rule.
A launch or incident alone is not evidence. The source needs to name a banked reset, reset credit or corresponding account action.
How to check and use it
Open Settings and Usage in Codex or ChatGPT Work and look for a stored reset action. Read the interface before redeeming because it may affect the current allowance or future timing.
If an announcement says credits were issued but the account shows none, confirm plan eligibility and allow for propagation. AIReset never performs account actions.
Expiry and eligibility
Expiry, stacking and eligible plans depend on the specific event. AIReset does not apply one universal expiry period.
A banked reset is not a guaranteed recurring benefit. A historical issuance does not promise another one or guarantee eligibility for a new account.
Banked Reset history
The live panel reads banked events from the same history layer used by the main timeline. Each entry keeps its source and announcement time.
Public archives can be incomplete. Personal eligibility and expiry always come from the original source and account interface.
